Not to be confused with Sunrise Café in Chicago (how is it that in Seattle, I loved Sunlight Café and the Hopvine, and in Chicago I eat at the Sunrise Café and the Hopleaf? Life can be so mysterious sometimes…). The tables are usually sticky with organic honey and the entrees lean towards the monastic side of vegetarian (think steamed vegetables, brown rice and Bragg’s). I like this place because it reminds me of cooking and eating at my co-op in college, but without all the germs.
